14. Planning - Health and safety

As we are filming we need to ensure that we take into consideration health and safety of the cast and crew. We will do this by taking the follow actions.

  • Making sure that when filming the water scene our electrical equipment doesn’t go near the water and that the crew doesn’t slip. 
  • Be careful with the lighting as shining light directly into the actors eyes may put strain on their eyes.
  • When using filming equipment we also need to make sure to keep the cables out of the way so that no one trips over them.
  • When kicking open the door the actor won't kick the door as hard as he can otherwise they could injure there foot or break the door.

4&5. Preliminary Task and Eval

Preliminary task evaluation: Pre-production -In the pre-production process as we did not have much time we did not write a storyboard or a script and just came up with an original concept (The Chase), w e also did not have any costumes or props that we could use. We had to make use of our space around school as we were not aloud off site to film and after walking around the whole school we decided the best place to use was the science block. Production During the production stage we used techniques such as match-on-action and shot reverse shot to create verisimilitude. Post production Finally in post production we imported everything on to the MacBooks and used final cut pro to edit our film. We pieced together the scenes as we wanted using continuity editing.
