4&5. Preliminary Task and Eval
Evaluation
Pre production
In the pre-production process we only had around 30 minutes to plan it and did not have time to draw a storyboard and had only written a small script which then had to be adapted. We also did not have any costumes or props that we could use. We had to make use of our space around school as we were not aloud off site to film and after walking around the whole school we decided the best place to use was a small hall.
Production
During the production stage we was able to find some props in the hall by which included a box of ping pong balls and a table and chairs. In the hall we had allot of space to film and was able to carry out the task of filming a shot reverse shot.
Post production
Finally in post production we imported everything on to the MacBooks and used final cut pro to edit our film. We pieced together the scenes we wanted using continuity editing. We included match on action shots. we then added sound effects, music and credits.
What went well?
- We included a shot reverse shot.
- We had a finished film.
- Had funny parts to the film.
- If we had more time to plan where we filmed because the hall had an echo.
- we would use mic so it can pick up speech quicker.
- we would plan costumes and props to use.
